OVERVIEW

A go-to-market strategy defines whom to serve, what to offer and how to acquire customers. For a business reaching international customers in Korea or a Korean company entering the US, it connects the buying decision with the conditions required to deliver the offer.

Growly is a US company connecting market research, positioning and execution for Korean businesses. We help explain and sell the offer in terms that matter to US buyers: the alternatives they consider, the effort of adoption and the evidence they need. The same attention to customer needs and service conditions applies to international customer acquisition in Korea. Scope follows the decision at hand, with the materials and criteria needed to act on it.

01

Define the customers to prioritize.

We assess the customers you can realistically serve alongside the size of the opportunity. Visitors booking before a trip to Korea face different decisions from customers searching during their stay. A US company adopting its first software tool differs from one replacing an established system. We examine the purchase trigger, problem, decision-maker and adoption requirements as well as geography and industry.

Search demand and community questions are read alongside inquiry, booking and sales records. Priorities reflect the need, the value you can explain and deliver, and the cost of reaching those customers. For platforms, we examine the value each side provides to the other and which participants, locations or categories need to be established first.

The research records geography, period, sample and comparison conditions. Understanding a motive through interviews is distinct from estimating its prevalence. Where records permit, we include unconverted inquiries and reasons for choosing alternatives.

02

Make the reason to choose you specific and credible.

Positioning starts with the alternatives customers actually consider, including keeping an existing tool or postponing a purchase. We compare the needs those alternatives satisfy and the problems they leave unresolved, then examine which customers have reason to value your differences.

The output defines the priority customer, customer value, supporting evidence and recurring objections. A feature becomes meaningful when its practical use is clear. Unavailable capabilities and support remain outside the promise. This becomes a shared basis for advertising, service pages, product explanations and sales materials.

03

Design the channel and the buying process together.

Discovery and purchase can happen in different places. Someone may begin with search, seek reassurance in a community and decide after a conversation. We define each channel’s role and connect it to the information and assistance needed for the next step.

A direct booking, a self-service trial and a purchase requiring a demonstration need different paths. The plan records the audience, message, destination, follow-up, owner and measurement for each channel. Initial investment is concentrated where it can address the most consequential assumptions within the available budget.

04

Test whether the acquisition economics can work.

We examine customer revenue alongside the cost of acquisition and service. Product costs, delivery, payment fees, consultation, onboarding, refunds and cancellations affect what a channel can support. A high transaction value may still come with a long sales process or substantial support costs.

Available records inform an acquisition-cost range and payback estimate. We compare scenarios as conversion or repeat purchase changes, separating observed contribution from unproven lifetime value. The budget identifies media, production and management costs, the assumptions being tested and a spending limit. Forecasts retain the conditions on which they depend.

05

Turn the plan into a coordinated launch.

The launch plan sequences preparation, release and subsequent improvement. Pages, messages, creative, inquiry or trial flows, measurement and follow-up need to work together. Each activity has an owner, timing and dependencies.

Before release, we check the advertised offer against what customers will receive: pricing, support hours, delivery or integration terms, and the route from a submitted inquiry to the responsible person. Agreed work can proceed into campaign, content and website production. Where the client’s team owns execution, we provide specifications and acceptance criteria.

06

Evaluate the launch through customer behavior.

Visibility and visits are only part of the picture. A location-based service may need to connect qualified inquiries with bookings, attendance and payment. SaaS may need to connect trials with meaningful use, paid conversion and retention. A platform must examine whether users can complete a match or transaction. We define how far the available records can connect these stages.

We compare segments and acquisition sources while allowing for customers whose purchase journey is still incomplete. Review timing follows the buying cycle and available sample. If response is weak, we examine the audience, offer, channel and follow-up separately and explain the evidence for maintaining, revising or expanding the plan. Changes are discussed with the client, with observation distinguished from interpretation.
