CLIENT CASE REPORTHEALTHCARE · PERFORMANCE MARKETING

A new clinic changes the execution sequence when its website cannot change freely

Three months after opening, the clinic had neither an in-house marketing team nor full control over website changes. We began with editable search information, then adjusted advertising and inquiry routes. Reported results included 120 monthly inquiries on average and 7.82x ROAS.

This was not a project in which every desired improvement could be implemented at once. The clinic needed international customers while access to website changes was restricted and no internal marketing team was available.

growly started with channels we could improve directly. Search information and content came first, followed by broader advertising, inquiry routes and measurement checks. When a new campaign did not perform sufficiently, the work included stopping it and restoring a previous approach.

01 / Early-stage constraints

Customer acquisition could not wait for a complete redesign

At three months after opening, the clinic needed to build useful online information while acquiring patients for its current operation. Restricted control of the website meant the desired improvements could not all be completed together. The plan had to account for actual access and operating capacity, as well as the desired destination.

We began with editable elements of the Google Business Profile and Instagram account. Advertising and acquisition were not made entirely dependent on a future website redesign. We improved information customers could already encounter, then expanded the work into campaign settings and inquiry routes.

The choice did not make the website less important. It established an executable starting point within the available control and staffing. Without an internal marketing team, identifying who could actually make each change was part of turning a work list into delivery.

02 / Search information

Service descriptions were aligned across the available channels

We configured Business Profile categories and services, registered service information and images, and organized language-specific information and posts. A customer discovering the clinic needed enough information to understand what care it provided.

Later work compared website menus with the services shown in search. Because direct website changes were difficult, we revised the profile’s service structure and incorporated English, Japanese and Chinese search language. Conflicting descriptions across channels would leave an interested customer without a clear basis for inquiry.

There were periods when Maps visibility did not produce sufficient conversions. We did not treat the existence of rankings as the end of the work. Service descriptions, the next information a customer would see and the route to inquiry were examined together. Being visible and being able to inquire were different problems.

03 / Information after the ad

Interested customers needed something further to read

Initial Instagram work included six posts, four images and alternative text. Customers discovering the clinic through advertising or search then had more material to investigate.

A short advertisement could not provide the clinic’s entire explanation. An interested customer needed a place to investigate before requesting a consultation. Even with limited website access, improvements to the search profile and Instagram could strengthen those touchpoints.

Content was prepared as part of the acquisition sequence. As advertising brought more people to the clinic’s information, their next questions also needed a destination. The existence of useful descriptions and inquiry routes mattered more than adding channels for their own sake.

04 / Targeting scope

Country and current location were considered together

The project covered advertising targeting in 17 countries. For a recently opened clinic, the composition of existing patients was too narrow a basis for defining every future market. Targeting was expanded to introduce the services to prospective customers the business had not yet reached.

The work included country-targeted traffic campaigns and conversion campaigns addressing international customers already in Korea. Someone preparing to travel and someone currently in Korea have different times in which they can use the clinic. Wider geographic reach and access to people able to visit soon were treated as distinct operating choices.

Keywords, advertising locations and audience settings were subsequently analyzed and reorganized, with new and existing campaigns revised. The expanded targeting remained subject to adjustment as customer response became available.

05 / Inquiry routes and adjustment

A new campaign could be stopped when the response did not justify it

Later work completed a link landing page and checked whether the Google tag used for conversion measurement was recognized. This prepared a route from advertising to relevant information and contact methods, while checking what could be recorded along that route.

Tag recognition did not establish that inquiries were occurring in sufficient numbers. At the time, further investigation was needed to distinguish a lack of conversions from reporting still developing while the campaign was learning. Measurement status and customer response needed separate interpretation.

When efficiency from the new link-page campaign was insufficient, we stopped it and resumed the earlier traffic-led campaign. A conversion campaign for international customers in Korea also operated, with learning-stage data kept under review. Building a new destination did not create an obligation to keep its campaign running.

We retained the combination that worked within the available destinations and customer response, and changed the one that did not. Restricted website control made adjustment in the areas we could manage particularly important.

06 / Project results

Inquiries, advertising response and revenue retained separate meanings

120Average monthly inquiries
7.82×Reported ROAS

Reported results included an average of 120 monthly inquiries, a 7.11% average click-through rate and 7.82x ROAS. Inquiries describe consultation demand; click-through rate describes response to advertising exposure; ROAS relates reported revenue to advertising cost.

International-customer revenue in the first week with growly exceeded the total from the preceding three months. It was an early indication of the clinic’s ability to generate revenue from this audience.

Delivery spanned search information, content, targeting and inquiry routes. Even without a full website rebuild, we improved the touchpoints customers used to discover the clinic, investigate its services and make contact.

07 / The execution partner’s role

The clinic could continue acquisition within its constraints

The required role extended beyond configuring advertising. While website access remained limited, editable information had to be identified, service descriptions aligned and weak inquiry results investigated from both a measurement and customer-response perspective.

Stopping a campaign was one of the consequential decisions. Protecting a newly built page or an initial hypothesis mattered less than selecting a workable acquisition approach. The ability to reverse a change or revise its scope helped determine the next useful action in a constrained project.

The clinic continued search information management, content production, advertising and measurement checks without first building an internal marketing team. growly connected the work an external partner could execute and chose an operating sequence suited to the clinic’s situation.
